Threat to footpath from Goose Green to Lancaster Road

Developers have come in with plans for 5 houses on Crowthers Farm, which will totally change this much loved green footpath. In order to get access they are planning to put in a new drive right down by the bollards, so vehicles will be using the whole path. And now, in a sudden change of plan they propose widening the tarmac into what is now the hedge along the south of the path. This is so refuse and other large vehicles can get onto the site and be able to turn. Their plan is that large vehicles will do a 3 point turn in the entrance, reversing along part of the footpath to do this. And to make room, some of the hedge will be converted into tarmac. The plan is a bit complicated, but if you look carefully, the heavy black lines show what will be tarmac, the blue line shows what S Glos highways own, and the red lines are the village green (which cannot be touched). S Glos Council are not consulting ANYONE, not even the people on Lancaster Rd backing onto it or the people who objected to the original application. That is a disgrace. Thanks to an eagle eyed resident, who spotted it and alerted us. You can see the proposals, and comment on them at:
(https://developments.southglos.gov.uk/online-applications/) Then put in the application number P20/04569 Please can you share this with people you know who use the path or live nearby who might want to comment. (We delivered a Focus special to residents when the plans came in, but S Glos has not even gone back to people who put in comments……)
