Emergency road closure - Upper Chalkley Lane in Horton and Hawkesbury Upton

This road has been closed to traffic due to subsidence. A detailed survey is under way but it doesn't look like it will be an easy job. They might have to reconstruct the road from the foundation up, and maybe put in ground anchors or retaining walls.

The road is still open for walkers.
