GCSEs - good news for Yate and Chipping Sodbury schools

Several of our local schools have seen major improvements in GCSE results this year.

King Edmund Community School in Yate has had a rise of 20 per cent to 54 per cent of students achieving 5 A* to C grades, with 36 per cent of students achieving five or more A* to C grades including English and maths.

Chipping Sodbury School is celebrating its best ever GCSE results with 67 per cent of students achieving five or more A* to C grades, with 53 per cent of students achieving five or more A* to C grades including English and maths.

We haven't seen any figures published yet for Brimsham Green School, but we'll put them here if we do.

Congratulations to all our local GCSE students - and to their hard-working teachers!
